Susan's specialty is the financial futures. At home in global markets that "never sleep," she spends most of her time trading currency futures, interest rates, stock indexes and metals. When asked about her approach to the markets she responds, "I like trading markets like bonds and currencies because they trend very well and they have liquid options markets, which gives clients many new income and capital gain alternatives." When asked about risk she responds, "The successful broker is someone who understands risk. You can give great advice . . . but if you are unwilling or unable to properly manage risk you are beaten before you start. That is why I was drawn to options in the first place . . . it is one of the tools I use to manage risk."
Susan began her career in commodities in 1980, serving a two-year apprenticeship with the famous Aden Analysis research team in Costa Rica. During that time she became intimately familiar with the intricacies of technical analysis. Now a prominent technician in her own right, Sue has been a featured speaker at commodity workshops and investment seminars around the world.
To keep her public speaking skills sharp, Sue founded and served as president of a thriving Chicago Toastmasters club. Susan's knowledge and communication skills also make her a valued contributor to investment newsletters. She has authored numerous Special Reports and articles on technical analysis and financial market forecasts for many prominent publications, including Futures magazine.
